[1337] JJ - Video Comeback
So apparently our old friend JJ is coming back to make 1 final video, which he wants to be the best drift video ever made for GTA. With the smoothest and cleanest drifts possible. In the comments of this intro video you can see Kassik has gone a bit overboard with the accusations of slowing down video's. But is he right? Kassik has proven he knows what a slowed-down video looks like, and we do know JJ was around the time those video's started being created. So lets wait it out and see what happens.
Personally I've known JJ for a long time, since the time of my first drift clan to be more exact. He was a pretty cool guy, friendly, but like everyone else he changed when [1337] was started, and after that clan was created he basically stopped talking with me.
From what I've gathered, JJ has always wanted to be king on the spotlight, to be someone everyone knew, but he never really achieved that. He ended up creating a seperate Youtube account and actually making a video dedicated to himself, to make it look like he was the best underground drifter out there. That was by far his most pathetic move. I would love to see him get what he deserves tho. A spot amongst a group of drifting legends, a team that beats the purpose of [1337] or MPWR.
If you haven't noticed, all of the old and "Pro" drifters have never actually been able to leave GTA. No matter how many times they have said they are leaving for good, they have always ended up coming back. I think they should get together and form one final, one great drifting team. They have tried before as I mentioned, but they failed when they let greed, ignorance and arrogance rule the decisions of the team. They looked at themselves as the ones nobody could fuck with, the ones that ruled. But they did nothing to get such credit, so they just became washed-up wrecks.
Get together, Create the team, Create the final video's that will cap off the drifting community. This time, don't let the morons in the clan, and I think even they know who I am talking about.
ANYWAY, away from all the dark crusader bullshit, here is that video I mentioned a few years ago...it seems.

D1GP Drivers - Atsushi Kuroi
Ignore the Youtube title given to this video.
This video shows almost all of the D1 Drivers in 2009 competing for..a place in D1, and you'll catch some awesome drift action in the process. My main reason for posting it is for Atsushi Kuroi, who does an incredible high angle, long slide entry drift into the corner in the video.
The sad part about it is that Atsushi Kuroi died in a motorcycle accident on February 2, 2010. Him and Asamoto were my favorite drivers to watch on D1, so it really does suck to see him go. It IS almost impossible to forget his unforgettable 240sx Coupe which he drove for his whole D1 Career. He may have only won one series, but his skills and car control best almost any other driver I've seen.
