Cold War Jet Trains

Some of you may already know about these, but I still find it cool enough to make a post.

During the Cold War, the US and Russia were going head to head in the technological field, and in just about every direction. One of these directions was speed trains. So one day, somebody came up with the brilliant idea to shove two jet engines on the top of a train and see what would happen. The USA had now created a train that could reach 284kph, the fastest at the time. Following that, Russia created something very similar, except with some fokin awsome Jetsons poster art:

The Russian version never reached the speed of the USA's train, and both were soon replaced by Europe's TVG and the Japanese Tungushi Manikabadabihoruko (no, not really), but they were still 2 very..cool(?) ideas. Never-minding their efficiency.

Drift Andreas Ripoff?

So about 1 1/2 weeks ago I started scripting for my new server, the [TDSD] Drift Server. In the midst of it, I started to fool around with bots. I then created a bot named Bob who drove consistent bigear runs for players to fool around with. Not even 5 days later, DA has completely ripped off the idea, even to have the liberty of calling their new Bigear bot: "Bob".

Seriously?

Could you not even have asked me or told me about it first?

Muiltiple Identities

This is a question for anyone to answer on the chatbox or on MSN:

-Why is it that so many people create multiple identities on SA-MP?

Can you not just stick with one? Are you too big of a coward to face up to your own problems? Do you have anything to prove? Do you just want to see our expressions when you log onto a server with 2 different identities because you've been using your laptop and desktop at the same time?

Lets hear your answers over there ----------------->

Line Theft Part 2

Ok, for any of you out there who have even actually read about this "Line Theft":

The line used in that video is NOT mine. Somebody has been going around trying to pose as TDSD Members. As it seems, somebody has been using the emails: tdsd_vertex@hotmail.com and tdsd_excel@hotmail.com to try and obtain mods from people. Somewhere in the mix, a person gave out a fake handling line and labeled it as mine. The person believed to have done this is the person I blocked from my MSN 1 page back' P4wko.

So this is a note for anyone and everyone: If someone says they have my handling line (other than VaZ and real TDSD members), it is most definitely not a real line. If one of those 2 emails has added you to MSN, I encourage you not to share any modifications and remove them.

EDIT: Someone has told me that the culprit is [Saint]GTR32.

I'm done

I am posting this as another one of my big rants, the last one being nearly 1 year old.

I am tired of you. I have been here and still remain since 2005, and yet you still disregard any respect. You are not even human in the eyes of the world. You consume more than you will ever produce. You are the epitome of what is waste in this universe. You try to understand yourself more than you will ever try to understand the galaxy. You mock me as a daily routine that you no longer recognize. Your way of life is that of a freemason, something you probably have no idea of it's definition, and will not obtain such by using the simplicity of your life called Google.

Each day that I am in the presence of your kind, you obsess not over a shine or an impressive skill, but that of a one world ego that you solemnly swear by. You have this need to surcease for the media. I try to live a life, where as you feed off that of anyone who has one left.

I am truly sorry that you have been born so blind as to not see what the world is and what it can, will, could, and has been. For a man, women, and child who is born free is drawn to simpler conclusions of what your life is, and follows directly in your imagine as if not to speak so in epigrammatic.

I am sorry that you have forgotten what it is to have all that one man needs, where as you suckle to the proceeds of what multiple men struggle to carry.

Unfinished.

DMCC West Round 3 - 2010

Eyo.

Yesturday I went to Castrol Raceway to watch the Drift Mania Canadian Championship drifting event, which was my first real taste of the Canadian dori scene..and it's a bit different then expected.

First of all, walking in was a good treat since you can walk down through the tented area's where all of the cars are parked and being worked on, and it's true that the 240sx dominates in Canada as well. To your left...a Silvia, to your right..an Onevia. One thing I noticed while looking in on the cars was that just about all of them had the typical SR20 swap done, and they were all pretty low-powered. You'd see the traditional red-top, followed by a new turbocharger and intake system, intercooler and not much else. On average I'd guess the cars were running 280hp. Most of the cars were pretty tattered and torn with Phat Ziggity style usage of zipties, but a few people came up just to show off their pitch perfect and clean cars: Toyota Supra [Gold rims, white paint w/ carbon hood], Acura NSX [Black / chrome VIP-ish rims, white paint w/ carbon hood], Pure white Nissan Skyline R32 [Nicest car there imo - Built RB26], and a bone stock R35. Overall the pit area was basically what you could've expected. (There was a NOS tent handing out free drinks, twoot twoot)

3oclock and the event starts: the cars all come out, line up, driver / car introductions happen with the eye catching DMCC girls, the cars all go back, and the drifting begins!

It started off pretty clean in the beginning with some pretty good runs, but even after the first few tandems the day went sour. Cars started spinning, gripping, even crashing. I only think that 1, maybe 2 tandems didn't involve spinouts through the entire day, and we saw more "One more time"'s happen after each go. I have to say that Angus Franks or "The Mad Scientist" put on quiet the show in his S12 (yes, 12) after banging up the cones, smashing his rear light off on a barrier and finishing his run with the Boot wide open! The driver of the GTO then showed us the power of V8 drifting going against a Silvia in what was the ugliest set of drift runs all day. I swear they were almost ready to go for a 5th and 6th time, as each one of them spun out when the other didn't. I have to say that the GTO either seemed really hard to control, or the driver was simply running it too hard and pushing out >too< much power to be able to make a steady drift. I won't fail to mention the oldest driver of the bunch who was riding in a red RX-7 FD, who in my opinion displayed the most skill out of the bunch.

Unfortunately I wasn't able to stay after they had rounded down the final 4, but I would've really loved to see the FD go against the Cream colored 240 - the 2 cleanest runners.

I honestly hope that the other events will be better in terms of..well, less spinning and more drifting! Overall it was a good day tho, and damn did I get a good sunburn.

Line Theft?

Javaboy sent me this link on MSN...

In the description it says:

Hi this the new line that i got :D

Made by Excel24

Private i don't send it without permision so please don ask :)

Ok well, I haven't sent any lines to anybody for about 1 month now. The last person to receive one of my handling lines was VaZ who I trust has not sent it to anybody else...

I checked my MSN logs to see if I may have sent one a long while ago, but I came up with nothing. So somebody please inform me of HOW this line was received, and when.

The Internet is for...horse porn?

lol, sorry but I had to make a post on this:

Take a look at the amount of views on that song, then look in the related video's tab and look at all the other views on those videos.

You will notice that each music video is somewhere between 500,000 - 2,000,000. Then, outstandingly, there is a fucking horse breeding video with 18,000,000 views. WTF?

2: [TDSD] Server

Alright, so for the past few weeks I've been doing steady scripting trying to create a very unique Roleplay server, and I've decided to take a break to do as the title says; create a new TDSD Drift server.

This time around, we will try and step up the game. I mean that no bullshit will be allowed. I am really sick of how things are going in this "community" for the last year, and anyone that joins our server will have to accept that almost everything will be different here.

Planned features:
-Register / Log-In system

-IP Tracker

[If you try to register / login with a different name, you will be kicked. You will be able to change your name in-game after you have logged in as your pre-existing account name with a command]

-Name Changing

[as explained above]

-Special Clan Features

[If you and your clan play at our server regularly, you will be given special features for as long as you have that clan tag in your name. Things such as: Clan houses, Clan cars, Weapon pickups, Ability to start a clan battle in-game.]

-Drift Training area's

[There will be cones/ clipping points / ect set up at the LV and SF driving schools along with AI Bots to demonstrate how to do each course. [TDSD] members will also try and help out as much as possible]

Badlands Motorsport Resort

I was reading more info and bullshieze on the DMCC, when I came across something odd...

It's called the Badlands Motorsport Resort project, and it's located in Alberta Canada, 3-4 hours away from where I live in the city called Calgary. This is honestly going to make people shit themselves, and it will DEFINITELY highlight Canada on the map for racing. Rumor is that the same person who designed the famous Laguna Seca is the mastermind behind it.

Just take a look at the planned courses:

The yellow/orange line is the public road that will run through the area. The black marks all of the track.

This is another, more detailed image of the layout. Yes you are reading correctly, there are 3 courses in the one area. The 2 Valley and Mountain courses are in reality, an Ebisu style touge from what I know.

Even more, the area is meant to be much more than just racetracks. It will have purchasable housing to Badlands Motorsport members, advanced driver training courses, and recreational events for people who don't even care about racing.

Each course can be rented out to people, and I can imagine each one would be open on the weekends.

I really don't know about you guys, but seeming as tho this is pretty close to me and I'm still in school, by the time I graduate hopefully there will be some job opportunities opened (wishful thinking). I just have to try and remember that this is still a project not yet in development.

There is no expected completion date given yet, so hold tight.
