Memoir of Skill

Back in 2007, this would have been considered a pro video. Looking at this now, it seems so amateurish :p

Where the confusion arises is when people used to call this a pro video for a reason. This level of skill was (and horribly enough, is) still way ahead of most others. When a new video is released, much like this one released 1 hour ago;

People do not tend to care. Over the years, from 2007 to 2010, people have become...dull. Stale. We no longer care about what it is that we love doing, drifting. We care more about how to look while you are drifting. But what are the looks, without the foundation to back it? We are building on a swamp, and eventually it will plumit--fall.

Overall: 3.5/10

What is missing in that? A Drift rating! --Maybe somebody out there is listening--

Insane 2010 D1GP Drifting!

A huge boost in skill?

The first drift was definitely the most clean, but I have to say...Saito is turning out to be the next Kuroi!

[RS] Server going downhill? Bi-Polar Order

Simple to say, shit is continuously fucked up.

I've written down numberous times before of how bad the drift community has gotten, but I fear now that there will be no place for honest drifters left to drift at. Just by today's events, it's become evident that the players at the [RS] server are slowly turning into a secondary group of DA server players, whom they solemnly oppose.

The level of arrogance, insecurity, and self-appreciation is just fucking wrong. Nobody has any respect for anyone else, people pretend to care when they don't actually give a fuck, people use each other to obtain clan tags, mods, and other things related.

Sorry! All respect still remains with the server host VaZ, but something urgently needs to be done!

Drift Community Project

A bit of new info for all who haven't seen it yet; I decided to join the [DC] clan. I am still a full and active member of TDSD as I will always be, and I do have reasoning for multi-claning into DC (DriftCidz). TDSD only has 3 members, whom are very on/off with their activity. DC has been looked upon by many as a dying clan, but despite that, the members still kept it going, and it will not be dying anytime soon. [TDSD] has still only found 3 candidates to even possibly enter the clan over the last 2 years, but DC is a much more .. 'involved' clan in the drift scene. Out of any other drift clan on SA-MP, I must say that it is DC that has shown the most growth and improvement. Good members, a good leader, and a classic dedication that's very hard to find in modern time. To support the clan from 'dying' any further, to get more 'involved', and to represent what could be a 'great' clan, I joined it.

This is where the community part kicks in.

Atm I'm working on creating a Drift Community homepage and forum. The forum (if I can properly set it up) will be able to house several different clans by giving them their own separate boards where they can discuss and organize their own clan business. Representing and presenting the website/forum will be [TDSD] and [DC], with both of their logo's on the sides. Moderation of the forums will be given out to all [TDSD] members, and to those in [DC] whom the leader trusts as able.

As for a server, we already have a good server to play on, and that server will also be advertised on the website/forum.

Everything should be ready to go in...no given time, days.
