DMCC West [Canadian Drifting]

I was reading up on the DMCC West again and started to look at the prize amounts.

For each event:
Winner - $1000
2nd - $750
3rd - $500

Kinda low? Yea. And get this:
Entry fee - $1000

The Entry / Win cash flow is pretty equal, but it's still low. Until I found out why:

The championship winner (Highest Average from all events), wins a Formula-D License. 2nd-4th get Formula Pro-Am licenses.

Basically meaning that yeah, they can go ahead and jump straight into the American Formula-D Championships and battle against drivers like Darren McNamara and Chris Forsberg. I guess this is the reason the prizes and entry fees are as low as they are. Paying $1000 and possibly getting the chance to go to the big leagues...not a bad deal. Until you have to pay the odd 30k entry for Formula-D...good luck with that!

Stone Temple Pilots

I forgot to post about this, and it's not very new news now.

One of, if not my favorite band came out with a new Self titled album.



Yet again from them, an excellent album with more of a classic feel to it. These guys never get old, and their style remains. I have nothing more to say, as the words are in the lyrics, listen to them.

Fact of the matter is: It's no different than you converting a Veilside bodykit from Juiced 2. Veilside is made completely for looks, with some seriously wtf styling. The bumper on my 240sx, a Uras Diffuser, is used for traction, the exact same way a spoiler provides it. Sure, it may not do this in-game, but if that was the case why the fuck would any of you add hood scoops, bodykits in general, spoilers, anything.

A months or 2 ago, almost all of you guys were blowjobbing this guy and talking about how epically awsome he was:

Kassik: Yes, he is a very aggressive person in most of what we see, and sometimes can also be very arrogant. On the other side, he can be quiet and fun to drift with.

DriftEE: Somehow always ends up bringing 1 of 2 topics up in any of his arguements: Ego, or Jealousy. Maybe by worrying so much about both, they have grown on him? Used to be fun to drift with if you reverse a few years.

That manana-sized s13 that was uploaded, apparently wasn't actually by the Tom2 we know, someone just used his nickname to upload it on gtainside. And yeah, the whole thing was a convert as suspected; only from Forza 3, giving this mysterious uploader the thought that he had the "most best s13" to come to GTA..

Still a failure.
