Using Handling lines in SA-MP 0.3d

***IMPORTANT NOTE: THIS TUTORIAL IS OUT-DATED***
Refer to the newer tutorial in the GTA Section of this blog, or use the search bar.

As requested; Instructions on how to do so.
Note: If you have any version of SA-MP or S0beit installed already, uninstall them.

Step 1:
-Download and install the cheat tool, Mod_Sobeit. The latest versions of this cheat program can be downloaded at:
http://code.google.com/p/m0d-s0beit-sa/
Make sure you install S0beit before you install SA-MP. This is very important.

Step 2:
-Download and install the latest version of SA-MP (0.3d R2) from their website:
http://www.sa-mp.com/download.php

Step 3:
-Open your Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas directory and open the 'mod_sa.ini' file. This can be accomplished by right clicking on the Windows start button (Win7 = Blue circle on task bar), and clicking 'Open Windows Explorer'. From there, find the folder you installed GTA into. By default, this will be:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Rockstar Games\GTA San Andreas.

Then open the 'mod_sa.ini' file.

Step 4:
-Once you have opened the file, click 'Edit' on the top taskbar, and click the 'Find' function. In the Find box, copy and paste this:
patch[] = "Custom handling.cfg (data/handling.two)"

Look for the two 0's found to the right of this line.
&0 0

Simply change the second 0 to a 1:
&0 1

Before you save the file, use the Find tool again and make sure that this line:
i_have_edited_the_ini_file =

is marked as true, like this:
i_have_edited_the_ini_file = true

Now save the file.

Step 5:
-Go back to your GTA Directory, by default:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Rockstar Games\GTA San Andreas

Open the 'data' folder, and find the file named 'HANDLING.TWO'. Open this file with Notepad or Wordpad as you would the regular 'Handling.cfg', and add all of your custom handling lines in this file instead. Once you are done, save the file and go play SA-MP. Your handling lines should work in the game now.
