Appreciated
It's much appreciated as to whomever has been telling other drifters about our server and the [TDSD] clan. At this point we have no idea who you are, but the traffic you are bringing, we are very thankful for. Sorry to the rest of you all for being pissed off in my last post, but please do refrain from trying to 'become' someone from TDSD, or any clan, or any person for that matter! Always be yourself, always think for yourself, always at the least, try for independence when you don't know how to do something.
So yes, if anyone has or has not noticed, recently we have been having a lot more unknown drifters showing up in the SDU Server, which is always good to have. If these people seem like newbies, or maybe even professionals, treat them with as much respect as you give the regulars.

Getting handling lines to work on GTA IV Multiplayer
As the title obviously suggests, this a how-to on installing handling lines for use in Multiplayer on GTA IV.
This question is asked over and over again, and the sad part is that there are absolutely NO webpage tutorials on how to do it, and rarely anyone who will help you out.
So here you go:
Step 1: Modify your handling.dat with the line you've created / downloaded.
Step 2: If you do not have any fancy text editing programs, you may need to manually change the copied lines text format to match that of the rest of the document.
Step 3: Open up 'filelist.pak', found in GTA IV/pc/data.
Step 4: Scroll down near the bottom of the page and find the handling section. Find the section where all the same data from the handling.dat is located.
Step 5: Install your line in the same spot you did in the handling.dat (Just copy and paste it).
That's it. Extremely easy, and yet nobody will share it.

San Andreas Drift Union?
Oh my gosh! A new server!
Holy crap, it's hosted and won't lag!
Saint Peter in the garden! It's got an epic script with regular updates and all of the good features we've seen from past drift servers!
WHAT DOES IT MEAN?
Not much really. Just posting to say that Vertex has paid for a hosted server via ServerFFS, and that I am half-way done the script to be used on the server. A lot of work has been put into this, and every piece of the script has so far been completely scratch made.
--------------------------------------------------------
The server will bear the title of ----POLL ON THE SIDE OF BLOG----, and will hopefully become a community drifting ground for everyone. [TDSD] will take credit for the creation of the server, but nothing else. Our name will not be advertised all over the place, and a new blog will be created for the E24 blog chain to act as a Portal and Forum for the new server.
A full list of features and information about the server will be found on the new blog AFTER the server is up and running.
So hold your horsepower until that time,
K.O. By love.

Memoir of Skill
Back in 2007, this would have been considered a pro video. Looking at this now, it seems so amateurish :p
Where the confusion arises is when people used to call this a pro video for a reason. This level of skill was (and horribly enough, is) still way ahead of most others. When a new video is released, much like this one released 1 hour ago;
People do not tend to care. Over the years, from 2007 to 2010, people have become...dull. Stale. We no longer care about what it is that we love doing, drifting. We care more about how to look while you are drifting. But what are the looks, without the foundation to back it? We are building on a swamp, and eventually it will plumit--fall.
Editing: 0/10
Music: 5/10
Car mods: 5/10
Overall: 3.5/10
What is missing in that? A Drift rating! --Maybe somebody out there is listening--

Insane 2010 D1GP Drifting!
A huge boost in skill?
The first drift was definitely the most clean, but I have to say...Saito is turning out to be the next Kuroi!

[RS] Server going downhill? Bi-Polar Order
Simple to say, shit is continuously fucked up.
I've written down numberous times before of how bad the drift community has gotten, but I fear now that there will be no place for honest drifters left to drift at. Just by today's events, it's become evident that the players at the [RS] server are slowly turning into a secondary group of DA server players, whom they solemnly oppose.
The level of arrogance, insecurity, and self-appreciation is just fucking wrong. Nobody has any respect for anyone else, people pretend to care when they don't actually give a fuck, people use each other to obtain clan tags, mods, and other things related.
Sorry! All respect still remains with the server host VaZ, but something urgently needs to be done!

Drift Community Project
A bit of new info for all who haven't seen it yet; I decided to join the [DC] clan. I am still a full and active member of TDSD as I will always be, and I do have reasoning for multi-claning into DC (DriftCidz). TDSD only has 3 members, whom are very on/off with their activity. DC has been looked upon by many as a dying clan, but despite that, the members still kept it going, and it will not be dying anytime soon. [TDSD] has still only found 3 candidates to even possibly enter the clan over the last 2 years, but DC is a much more .. 'involved' clan in the drift scene. Out of any other drift clan on SA-MP, I must say that it is DC that has shown the most growth and improvement. Good members, a good leader, and a classic dedication that's very hard to find in modern time. To support the clan from 'dying' any further, to get more 'involved', and to represent what could be a 'great' clan, I joined it.
This is where the community part kicks in.
Atm I'm working on creating a Drift Community homepage and forum. The forum (if I can properly set it up) will be able to house several different clans by giving them their own separate boards where they can discuss and organize their own clan business. Representing and presenting the website/forum will be [TDSD] and [DC], with both of their logo's on the sides. Moderation of the forums will be given out to all [TDSD] members, and to those in [DC] whom the leader trusts as able.
As for a server, we already have a good server to play on, and that server will also be advertised on the website/forum.
Everything should be ready to go in...no given time, days.

Atari Teenage Riot
Sorry but I have to make this post. This song has been bugging me and almost driving me crazy for the last...4 years. Atari Teenage Riot - Speed. You must be either tone def or extremely tolerant of shitty music to even stand listening to this. I've seen this song used in an endless amount of drift videos (even new ones) and it really turns what may have been good drifting, into a pile of shit. I honestly can't be fucked to watch anyone's video if this song is playing, noted.

Atsushi Kuroi - D1 Final Run
(Thanks for Vertex for sharing the link)
This is part 2 of his final run in D1. Pay close attention at 2:20 to see some of the best angle in D1 history. He definitely won, but due to his engine failure he had to back out.

[TheBest]Drifter
This is a post about the stupidity and ignorance of the drift community we have, even at the RedSuns server. Names will be used.
I was over at a friends place the other day, and he still had SAMP installed from a long time ago, so we decided to play it after creating a quick dori handling.
I joined the RedSuns server under the name of [TheBest]Drifter, and did not speak. Soon enough, people began calling me a noob because of the name, and asked me to race at bigear. "Keitiro" (sorry if it's mispelled), asked me to race him, and I did. I ended up passing him on the straightaway, and he then tried to block me, but as he did he turned directly into my front end, giving him a PIT. He was now WAY behind, but instead of calling for a restart, he just used Airbrake to catch back up. Not only that, but at the dam turn around, he went the opposite way and rammed into me (dickhead?), and on that small Uphill road he either used nitrous or speedhacks to go faster, and pass. Either way, I still won the race at the end.
Ofc this wasn't good enough for him, and we went a second time. This time, he had his friend (whose name started with an S(cant remember), and drove a black euros) come along to purposely ram me off the road. After being rammed and spun 3 times, I still managed to catch up at the turn around, where he AGAIN rammed me by going the opposite way. I was then a long ways behind, but still caught up on the last 3 corners, passing his pal and almost passing him (side by side).
After that, his friend asked me to do 90's through the security gate at the SF Naval base (the aircraft carrier boat), and I did. After making around 8 successful 90's, Keitiro blocks me on one and calls me a noob. I asked if what I had done was good enough, and I got no replies. Keitiro also threatened to ban me for "lying" about his cheating during the 2 bigear races.
I am sorry, but this needed to be posted for the reasons listed at the top.

"Max Angle" Drifting
There's a large controversy over what exactly a Max Angle drift is. I want to shed some light on that subject.
To many, "Max Angle" means 90 degrees.
To some, "Max Angle" means 89 degrees.
First of all, you are both wrong to apply the term "Maximum Angle" to a set angle. Why do you think things such as 720*, 360*, and 10105010* Degree turns exist? If you wanted to actually label an numeric value as maximum, you are now talking about an Infinite number. Meaning that a 90 Degree turn is nothing more, than a 90 degree turn. Not "Max Angle", unless you are naming the value of 90 to someone or something named Max in some relevance. - For this, you may as well call a 90 degree drift, a Kuroi Drift ;)
Secondly, to those of you who say the maximum angle is 89* degrees because that's how far your wheels will turn - this does not play any role in determining the angle of a CAR which is drifting. Since when was somebody's drift measured on the tire? You may as well use the TV Cameras to zoom in on the tire and watch the bloody piece of rubber slide on the corner, fuck the car. Somebody's Drifting Angle is measured on how far sideways the car has turned from it's original 0* degree position, to the beginning and centers of the apex. You could say:
"His entry angle was 95* degrees, mid point was 50* degrees and he exited with 5* degrees" - This explains the CARs angle at 3 points during a valid drift. If you would not consider angles over 90 degrees to be a drift, you may as well ban half the drivers from D1GP who have validly scored points by doing so.
If drifting angle really was based on how far your tires could turn..and drifting is considered to be an art instead of a sport, what would happen if Di-Vinci turned his painting 180*'s around? Is it no longer a painting? Ask yourself that.

Yes, the maximum angle your tires can turn is 89 degrees, but the question about drifting is: How far can your CAR turn sideways?

Mafia 2 Review
Bought the game last night and Finished it today.
Rating:
Story: 4/10
-The story is no where near as good as Mafia 1's, and even at the very beginning of the game it feels as tho you are being rushed through it, with key elements being left out. There is hardy any time to get to know the characters well other than the ones you do jobs consistently for. To sum it up, the story is just you playing around as a want-to-be / low life thug who finds out the odds and ends of the Mafia business. There is no real major story to it.
Action: 8.5/10
-The game play is fairly good with only a few minor flaws that may frustrate the player. Everything from Fist to Fist, to Gun to Gun battling is very well portrayed, however there are a few parts in the game which are extremely B.S. towards the player if playing on the highest difficulty. I like this, but at the same time you may find yourself re-starting the level a few times before lady luck is back on your side.
Game Quality: 10/10
-The quality of the game seems like it was the center of attention in development. There are almost no bugs or glitches which are highly visible, and only a few very minor things that can go wrong. Overall the entire package is wonderful, with great effects and detail all around the city, and variations of all of them for Day, Evening, Night, Rain, and even Snow.
Driving: 6.5/10
-I found myself not minding the driving, but it is indeed very arcade. Even if your going 100mph and immediately turn 90 degrees sideways, you will find yourself barely sliding at all, and if you apply the brakes at..100mph, you will stop with the force of a train colliding into you. Winter driving seemed to be hardly any different from regular driving, even tho the roads are iced as hell and you see people slipping and falling down everywhere on the sidewalks.
Features: 6.5/10
-I really liked the shops, restaurants, combat moves, ability to rob shops, change your license plates and all the other shit that goes along with that, but there were still many main features that were disappointingly left out: Taxi Rides, Bus Rides, The metro and the train were all left out as means of transportation. The biggest, and major disappointment for me was that they completely left out any form of non-campaign Free-ride mode as they had done in Mafia 1. After you finish the story, you are left with nothing else to do, and not even the ability to roam the city. The city itself is only about the size of Algonquin + Bohan from GTA IV, and they completely left out the countryside from the game, or other area's that could have been used. There is evidence on your map that they may have planned to use these grey area's on the outskirts, but never got around to it.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT #2:
Announcement number 2 is something you can reply about here on the chatbox. If you have an honest, and good blog or website about GTA and would like to see it featured on a Server / Website like mine, please say so in the chatbox ------->
Ask anyone you know if they would allow / like me to link their blogs on the new blog which I am creating. I would finally like to link up with the drift community instead of having just the odd visitor who doesn't even read half my posts.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT #1:
Hello to all. I label these next 2 posts as Important because I am gathering information from the drift community, which is you.
First off; I will be creating a Black List. This Black List will operate no differently from the one you found in Need For Speed: Most Wanted, except it will be for the best of the best drifters on SA:MP. That's where you come in.
I will be visiting all of the local drift servers in search for the Top 10, and possibly 15 drivers to be added to this list. If you want to show me what you've got one on one, just contact me via MSN / e-mail. - sameri11k@hotmail.com

Banned from Drift Andreas
So after almost 2 weeks (or so) of not playing or even joining said server, I play it once, and the following day - Post title.
The reason for the ban would be nice to hear, but I'm not suprised it happened.

Ken Block
Where did all of his fame go all the sudden? Why did you guys stop praising him like a god? What's happened?
oh.
Sorry but you knew I was going to rub this in. Remember all of those "GTA:GYMKHANA KEN BLOCK" video's? How the people of the 'drift community' would put their DP's as him, make mods about him, make their blogs look like his rally car paintjob...ya well that really went far didn't it you pansies.

Cold War Jet Trains
Some of you may already know about these, but I still find it cool enough to make a post.
During the Cold War, the US and Russia were going head to head in the technological field, and in just about every direction. One of these directions was speed trains. So one day, somebody came up with the brilliant idea to shove two jet engines on the top of a train and see what would happen. The USA had now created a train that could reach 284kph, the fastest at the time. Following that, Russia created something very similar, except with some fokin awsome Jetsons poster art:
The Russian version never reached the speed of the USA's train, and both were soon replaced by Europe's TVG and the Japanese Tungushi Manikabadabihoruko (no, not really), but they were still 2 very..cool(?) ideas. Never-minding their efficiency.
During the Cold War, the US and Russia were going head to head in the technological field, and in just about every direction. One of these directions was speed trains. Drift Andreas Ripoff?
So about 1 1/2 weeks ago I started scripting for my new server, the [TDSD] Drift Server. In the midst of it, I started to fool around with bots. I then created a bot named Bob who drove consistent bigear runs for players to fool around with. Not even 5 days later, DA has completely ripped off the idea, even to have the liberty of calling their new Bigear bot: "Bob".
Seriously?
Could you not even have asked me or told me about it first?

Muiltiple Identities
This is a question for anyone to answer on the chatbox or on MSN:
-Why is it that so many people create multiple identities on SA-MP?
Can you not just stick with one? Are you too big of a coward to face up to your own problems? Do you have anything to prove? Do you just want to see our expressions when you log onto a server with 2 different identities because you've been using your laptop and desktop at the same time?
Lets hear your answers over there ----------------->
Rules apply: Do not answer if you are Romanian.

Line Theft Part 2
Ok, for any of you out there who have even actually read about this "Line Theft":
The line used in that video is NOT mine. Somebody has been going around trying to pose as TDSD Members. As it seems, somebody has been using the emails: tdsd_vertex@hotmail.com and tdsd_excel@hotmail.com to try and obtain mods from people. Somewhere in the mix, a person gave out a fake handling line and labeled it as mine. The person believed to have done this is the person I blocked from my MSN 1 page back' P4wko.
So this is a note for anyone and everyone: If someone says they have my handling line (other than VaZ and real TDSD members), it is most definitely not a real line. If one of those 2 emails has added you to MSN, I encourage you not to share any modifications and remove them.
EDIT: Someone has told me that the culprit is [Saint]GTR32.

I'm done
I am posting this as another one of my big rants, the last one being nearly 1 year old.
I am tired of you. I have been here and still remain since 2005, and yet you still disregard any respect. You are not even human in the eyes of the world. You consume more than you will ever produce. You are the epitome of what is waste in this universe. You try to understand yourself more than you will ever try to understand the galaxy. You mock me as a daily routine that you no longer recognize. Your way of life is that of a freemason, something you probably have no idea of it's definition, and will not obtain such by using the simplicity of your life called Google.
Each day that I am in the presence of your kind, you obsess not over a shine or an impressive skill, but that of a one world ego that you solemnly swear by. You have this need to surcease for the media. I try to live a life, where as you feed off that of anyone who has one left.
I am truly sorry that you have been born so blind as to not see what the world is and what it can, will, could, and has been. For a man, women, and child who is born free is drawn to simpler conclusions of what your life is, and follows directly in your imagine as if not to speak so in epigrammatic.
I am sorry that you have forgotten what it is to have all that one man needs, where as you suckle to the proceeds of what multiple men struggle to carry.
Unfinished.

DMCC West Round 3 - 2010
Eyo.
Yesturday I went to Castrol Raceway to watch the Drift Mania Canadian Championship drifting event, which was my first real taste of the Canadian dori scene..and it's a bit different then expected.
First of all, walking in was a good treat since you can walk down through the tented area's where all of the cars are parked and being worked on, and it's true that the 240sx dominates in Canada as well. To your left...a Silvia, to your right..an Onevia. One thing I noticed while looking in on the cars was that just about all of them had the typical SR20 swap done, and they were all pretty low-powered. You'd see the traditional red-top, followed by a new turbocharger and intake system, intercooler and not much else. On average I'd guess the cars were running 280hp. Most of the cars were pretty tattered and torn with Phat Ziggity style usage of zipties, but a few people came up just to show off their pitch perfect and clean cars: Toyota Supra [Gold rims, white paint w/ carbon hood], Acura NSX [Black / chrome VIP-ish rims, white paint w/ carbon hood], Pure white Nissan Skyline R32 [Nicest car there imo - Built RB26], and a bone stock R35. Overall the pit area was basically what you could've expected. (There was a NOS tent handing out free drinks, twoot twoot)
3oclock and the event starts: the cars all come out, line up, driver / car introductions happen with the eye catching DMCC girls, the cars all go back, and the drifting begins!
It started off pretty clean in the beginning with some pretty good runs, but even after the first few tandems the day went sour. Cars started spinning, gripping, even crashing. I only think that 1, maybe 2 tandems didn't involve spinouts through the entire day, and we saw more "One more time"'s happen after each go. I have to say that Angus Franks or "The Mad Scientist" put on quiet the show in his S12 (yes, 12) after banging up the cones, smashing his rear light off on a barrier and finishing his run with the Boot wide open! The driver of the GTO then showed us the power of V8 drifting going against a Silvia in what was the ugliest set of drift runs all day. I swear they were almost ready to go for a 5th and 6th time, as each one of them spun out when the other didn't. I have to say that the GTO either seemed really hard to control, or the driver was simply running it too hard and pushing out >too< much power to be able to make a steady drift. I won't fail to mention the oldest driver of the bunch who was riding in a red RX-7 FD, who in my opinion displayed the most skill out of the bunch.
Unfortunately I wasn't able to stay after they had rounded down the final 4, but I would've really loved to see the FD go against the Cream colored 240 - the 2 cleanest runners.
I honestly hope that the other events will be better in terms of..well, less spinning and more drifting! Overall it was a good day tho, and damn did I get a good sunburn.

Line Theft?
Javaboy sent me this link on MSN...
In the description it says:
Ok well, I haven't sent any lines to anybody for about 1 month now. The last person to receive one of my handling lines was VaZ who I trust has not sent it to anybody else...
I checked my MSN logs to see if I may have sent one a long while ago, but I came up with nothing. So somebody please inform me of HOW this line was received, and when.

The Internet is for...horse porn?
lol, sorry but I had to make a post on this:
Take a look at the amount of views on that song, then look in the related video's tab and look at all the other views on those videos.
You will notice that each music video is somewhere between 500,000 - 2,000,000. Then, outstandingly, there is a fucking horse breeding video with 18,000,000 views. WTF?

2: [TDSD] Server
Alright, so for the past few weeks I've been doing steady scripting trying to create a very unique Roleplay server, and I've decided to take a break to do as the title says; create a new TDSD Drift server.
This time around, we will try and step up the game. I mean that no bullshit will be allowed. I am really sick of how things are going in this "community" for the last year, and anyone that joins our server will have to accept that almost everything will be different here.
Planned features:
-Register / Log-In system
-IP Tracker
[If you try to register / login with a different name, you will be kicked. You will be able to change your name in-game after you have logged in as your pre-existing account name with a command]
-Name Changing
[as explained above]
-Special Clan Features
[If you and your clan play at our server regularly, you will be given special features for as long as you have that clan tag in your name. Things such as: Clan houses, Clan cars, Weapon pickups, Ability to start a clan battle in-game.]
-Drift Training area's
[There will be cones/ clipping points / ect set up at the LV and SF driving schools along with AI Bots to demonstrate how to do each course. [TDSD] members will also try and help out as much as possible]

Badlands Motorsport Resort
I was reading more info and bullshieze on the DMCC, when I came across something odd...
It's called the Badlands Motorsport Resort project, and it's located in Alberta Canada, 3-4 hours away from where I live in the city called Calgary. This is honestly going to make people shit themselves, and it will DEFINITELY highlight Canada on the map for racing. Rumor is that the same person who designed the famous Laguna Seca is the mastermind behind it.
Just take a look at the planned courses:
The yellow/orange line is the public road that will run through the area. The black marks all of the track.
This is another, more detailed image of the layout. Yes you are reading correctly, there are 3 courses in the one area. The 2 Valley and Mountain courses are in reality, an Ebisu style touge from what I know.
Even more, the area is meant to be much more than just racetracks. It will have purchasable housing to Badlands Motorsport members, advanced driver training courses, and recreational events for people who don't even care about racing.
Each course can be rented out to people, and I can imagine each one would be open on the weekends.
I really don't know about you guys, but seeming as tho this is pretty close to me and I'm still in school, by the time I graduate hopefully there will be some job opportunities opened (wishful thinking). I just have to try and remember that this is still a project not yet in development.
There is no expected completion date given yet, so hold tight.

DMCC West [Canadian Drifting]
I was reading up on the DMCC West again and started to look at the prize amounts.
For each event:
Winner - $1000
2nd - $750
3rd - $500
Kinda low? Yea. And get this:
Entry fee - $1000
The Entry / Win cash flow is pretty equal, but it's still low. Until I found out why:
The championship winner (Highest Average from all events), wins a Formula-D License. 2nd-4th get Formula Pro-Am licenses.
Basically meaning that yeah, they can go ahead and jump straight into the American Formula-D Championships and battle against drivers like Darren McNamara and Chris Forsberg. I guess this is the reason the prizes and entry fees are as low as they are. Paying $1000 and possibly getting the chance to go to the big leagues...not a bad deal. Until you have to pay the odd 30k entry for Formula-D...good luck with that!

Stone Temple Pilots
I forgot to post about this, and it's not very new news now.
One of, if not my favorite band came out with a new Self titled album.
Yet again from them, an excellent album with more of a classic feel to it. These guys never get old, and their style remains. I have nothing more to say, as the words are in the lyrics, listen to them.

Bumper Bitching
A quick post. If you haven't been paying attention or visiting recently, there's been some controversy over there on the shoutbox ----> about this do dad:
Rice, totally fucking riced. Right?
Look how ugly it is, it looks like a piece of shit.
Fact of the matter is: It's no different than you converting a Veilside bodykit from Juiced 2. Veilside is made completely for looks, with some seriously wtf styling. The bumper on my 240sx, a Uras Diffuser, is used for traction, the exact same way a spoiler provides it. Sure, it may not do this in-game, but if that was the case why the fuck would any of you add hood scoops, bodykits in general, spoilers, anything.
A months or 2 ago, almost all of you guys were blowjobbing this guy and talking about how epically awsome he was:
Ha...fucking ricer.

Shoutbox Warriors
Kassik: Yes, he is a very aggressive person in most of what we see, and sometimes can also be very arrogant. On the other side, he can be quiet and fun to drift with.
DriftEE: Somehow always ends up bringing 1 of 2 topics up in any of his arguements: Ego, or Jealousy. Maybe by worrying so much about both, they have grown on him? Used to be fun to drift with if you reverse a few years.
Javaboy: If you didn't have the opportunity to change sides in the middle of a way, who's would you be on?

This video was on the Driftworks home page, but it's just too good to pass up on posting here. Figure that a Onevia, same car as Kuroi, would pull...a Kuroi

Re: Mod Failure
Quicky, pointed out by Gred.
That manana-sized s13 that was uploaded, apparently wasn't actually by the Tom2 we know, someone just used his nickname to upload it on gtainside. And yeah, the whole thing was a convert as suspected; only from Forza 3, giving this mysterious uploader the thought that he had the "most best s13" to come to GTA..
Still a failure.

Flying Lamborghini
This is a video that I saw a long time ago, but I have to say it's gotta be one of the cooler videos involving sports cars. Dubai, land of the rich, land of dreams, and here some guy in a Lambo hitting a speed bump at high speeds! A nice turnout too, where his rear end is flown up in the air, lands, and he keeps on going!

I lol'd
It appears as tho the "JDM Rusted Hood" trend has finally hit SA. After seeing this trend appear 2 years ago, it was not only ugly, but why the hell would you put a rusted hood on your car in the first place? Well, it's now come to SA.
Sorry, but if you want that type of look, just make the damn car out of wood.
And then we are faced with the next Noedel?
"
All in one colour --- Generally cars do come in one color?
-Grill (chrom) --- Adds to the "Style Points" counter in Zmod
-skrit's (Chrom)
-mark's (chrom)
-Antene --- Damn that's tight
-Boonet (rust) --- gay
-Roof rack --- for your spare tires, or..?
-Stickers --- 5..10..15..20....100hp!
-Lights --- Uh...
-Rims (Kamil)
-Exhaust --- ...
-door handles in car colour --- Good for those really dark nights where you can't see anything, now to attempt getting into the car!
-Addons --- Interior neon of course.
"
ESSO stickers are always cool, right?

More Mod Fail!
"1990 Nissan 200SX 1.8 Turbo"
Now, if you read the first one, you will know that that S13 was the size of the Manana. SA's smallest car. Well, this one is the opposite. It's actually too big for it's size.
And there is false advertising!
1.8 Turbo = CA18
The engine model on the car = KA24
1990 = Zenki Generation
Zenki = PIGNOSE!! >:0
Pignose:
LIES PEOPLE! LIES!
Actually it's just that people want to put out mod after mod after mod and don't care about it's quality, or if the info on it is correct because they really, really just don't care, and don't need to. I was bored, created this, end of story.

Keisuke Klan Krisis
That's right! The KKK has come to town :0!
Not really..but what this post is about is...well...muilti-clanning.\
Honestly, how many goddamn clans to you have to be apart of? Isn't the whole point of being in a clan to beat others, make a name for yourselves and support your clan mates? Apparently not, or at least the way things used to work have completely disappeared. How can you honestly be in 14 different drift clans at the same time? You can barely fit 3 tags at maximum in your game name, so imagine writting that down as a whole...jesus shitburger!
The suspect today is the modder Keisuke, who plays a perfect example of ridiculous multi-clanning:

[RS][SSD][HRT][GDT][BLITZ][MET][TFD]Keisuke[ASS][RD][TSD][TSET][ZDT][SSR][PI]
He's a cool guy and what not, but don't you think the clanning is a bit overkill? It's kind of like having a 14 winged spoiler on your car...even Disney couldn't add that many!
One last thing brought up by Vertex,
[RS] = Redsuns
[ASS] = Akina Speed Stars
Wait a second..he's in both...is that even possible? Takumi is going to get his AE out and wup Keisuke's butt.
GTA Crews I'm in :
[RS] Red Suns
[SSD] Street Style Drifters
[HRT] Hachi Roku Team
[GDT]Genki Drift Team
[BLITZ] BlItz Team
[MET] Monster Energy Team
[TFD] The Fastest Drifters
[ASS] Akina Speed Stars
[RD] Rotary Drifters
[TSD] Top Secret Drifters
[TSET] Top Secret Engineering Team
[ZDT] Zero Drift Team
[SSR] Seven Star Reaf
[PI] Project Inertia
.....Now for his full name

Mod Failure
I was looking on GTAInside when I came across this
Tom2 claims it as the "most best s13" for GTA. What it is = The entire car is a convert, with a mass amount of Polywaste that will lag your GTA, and over-stuff your IMG with a single DFF of 12k. What makes the car even worse is the scale. I opened zmodeler, imported it, and then imported a bunch of GTA cars.
As big as the buffalo? Hell no!
As big as the primo? Not even close!
As big as the bobcat? Keep going..
As big as the previon? ...
AS big as the manana? Close.
Yes, this car is smaller than the Manana, which is already the smallest >car< in GTA. I'm suprised CJ can even fit into this little kart.
And there's one more problem! It's as skinny as a fish! It almost looks like an Acura Integra instead of an S13..

TDU 2 Beta
It's ready to be launched, and Atari is sending out the application forms! Follow the link to enter.
http://www.testdriveunlimited2.com/beta
Not a very hard sign-up, meaning that they will most likely not even look at your application and just draw straws. Even still, I'd answer honestly. Even your age..of course.

Proof
That GTA is going backwards in time!
This video looks as tho it would be from 2006, but it's from 2010! GTA really is going back in time isn't it. The only thing left to happen is have the noobies leave, and the fun times begin!

GTA:SA Popularity Boost?
I don't know why, but for whatever reason it is, GTA SA (or SA-MP) has been gaining a lot of popularity lately. More servers and being created, and somehow they are actually filling up. New modding sites are coming up, and mods are pouring out. Map mods for some reason have gone on a major increase as well. Whatever, this means SA probably has another 2 years of life left in it! I'll be playing SA-MP, drifting around Muholland when the world ends in 2012. Woooeeoeoewoeow

SA-MP Forums Comment:
Holy fuck.
You people really haven't made it anywhere in terms of drifting. The fact of the matter is (The Law of Drift):
[b][size=10pt]If you cannot drift with Nitrous, you cannot drift without it. If you cannot drift without Nitrous, you cannot drift with it.[/size][/b]
[b][size=10pt]If you cannot drift with a handling, you cannot drift without one. If you cannot drift without a handling, you cannot drift with one.[/size][/b]
Honestly, how thick-headed do you have to be. If you would actually take the time to go in-game and try each one out for yourself (Stock, Nitrous, Handling) or watch several others do each, you will notice one thing: You will still drive the same driving line, with equal quality drifts.
Drifting itself is completely controlled by the driver. The driver is the only thing that really matters when drifting happens. If you happen to adjust your suspension or drift with nitrous, it is only a matter of the >DRIVER< adjusting to the new feel, and after the driver does so, he will be able to do drifts of equal quality as he was doing before.
[b]YES.[/b] People use handlings and nitrous to make their drifts longer and with more angle, but all in all if you had someone rate the driving, it would all be the same.
A description of the "modern" GTA Drift scene:
-A group of people who continually strive to be the best, but constantly get side-tracked and start spending all of their time making repetitive video's, downloading the latest car and map mods, learning how to steal parts from other cars and make ricers for their movies, joining a ridiculous amount of clans without even knowing anything about it (What the letters stand for), and then bitching 24/7 on Forums, blogs, websites and even on the in-game chatbox about how Stock beats Nitrous and how Nitrous beats Handlings and the opposite ways around.
I've had the "great fortune" of watching the drift community grow since GTA Rumble, GTA:T, MTA:Race, SA:MP 0.1b,0.2.1,0.2.2,0.3 and every day / week is just gets more pathetic. It was actually something to look forward to being apart of back in 05-07, but when 2008 came, people invented these fucked up mind-sets like those already discussed.
The point: Shut the fuck up, grab a fucking elegy, Lamborghini, Ferrari, buccaneer, whatever the fuck you want, and go slide it around a corner, make some friends, and make videos that are actually worth watching.

Mod Leak?
I've been looking at some S13's people have been making recently, and I'm starting to notice some odd looking stuff. I won't say any names at this point, but some of these s13's coming out have deadly similar parts to my s13. By that I mean that the polygon's match up perfectly, and the detailing looks exactly the same. Looking closer, I notice that if indeed one of my s13's was leaked out, it would've been one of my older ones, possibly before it was an Onevia. Pieces like the Rear Bumper, Sideskirts, Rollcage, engine parts and even the steering wheel are starting to appear on some other peoples cars, or some mysterious very accuritaly duplicated look-alikes. There is only a handful of people that have I have personally given any of my cars to, and each one was told specifically NOT to share it. If it was you, do tell on MSN or the shoutbox and get your slap to the face. I won't be suprised if the whole car is used in someones next mod.

Test Drive Unlimited 2
Yes! Yes! Yes! It has been official for a while now that Atari would be creating a Test Drive Unlimited 2, a sequel to one of my favorite car games out there.
Only recently have 2 trailers been released of the game, and I must say it looks absolutely beautiful.
In trailer one, we see a variety of locations.
Mind you, TDU 1 was based completely on 1 Island. This one appears to be on more than one, or possibly just one masssssiivveeee one. The reason I say this, is because in the video, you see:
-An area that looks like Italy
-An area that looks like Costa Rica
-An area that looks like the Arizona desert
-An area that looks like Miami
If they managed to put all of that in 1 Island: Badass.
The graphics look better, but my main 2 concerns are:
-Road smoothness. In TDU 1 some of the roads were smooth such as Highways, but the rest were really rough and bumpy
-The cars. I hope they have a tiny bit more variety in this one, seeming as TDU 1 was completely limited to sports and super cars, with an exception of the Nissan 350z, and hopefully there is some type of tuning for suspension, the engine, and exterior. Altho I wouldn't really care if ricing was left out >:)
Trailer 2:
Same shit, but more cinematic
It appears you can have parties...maybe some Skinny dipping if your lucky eh?

"Okaru" map beta
For anyone who has been looking for a new touge, I guess here is one.
Sarah posted a little link to a video with an un-developed touge, and that touge is now finished. I found this beta on the the submotoring blog and decided to post the DL link here.
http://cid-2f57312ed8cc1ce4.skydrive.live.com/self.aspx/MAP/okaru%5E_beta.rar
However, there's a problem. North American users will have to get the map from someone else, as the connection from here to Japan isn't exactly top notch, and the download becomes corrupted. Europeans may have better luck, but I do not know for certain.
The map is not very long, and you are constantly surrounded by grassy hill-ish walls, but they spent a lot of time just adding little signs the WHOLE way down.
Rating:
Better than Akagi - Yes
Better than SAkina - No
I would have to say SAkina is still better, for it's quality, skill level and the fact that it's actually a whole 3d island
This map is a bit better than FantasyHill, and a LOT more user-friendly then SAkina. Expect drift morons to go nuts over this map...as they do every map.

Drift Andreas sets 100 new BigEar world Records?
This one will make some of you laugh your heads off.
I joined DA just to drift for a while, when I heard Serravitor talking about the new NDT clan and how hard the test to get in is. So I asked what it was, and yes, it's a very hard test.
In the test, you are required to:
QUOTE:
Complete Big Ear Course In 1:55 or better!
Complete Atleast 10 Succesful Chain Drifts In San Fierro City!
Drift Around An [NDT] Member For 30 Seconds!
Complete The Whole Of SAkina In 3:00 Or Less!
Complete The Whole Of Akagi In 1:26 Or Less!
End Quote
Considering that the average BigEar time for a professional is 1:56, I doubt this clan will get many members.
Continued from that, Serravitor later said that he has done BigEar in 1:50 or lower.
Lets recap for a second. The only people to come even near that were Sarah and Kassik who made 1:52's. Now this guy claims to make 1:50's? I said bullshit, so I jumped in his car and he did a run. It was very evident right from the beginning that this wasn't a stock elegy. On the straightaways it went noticeably faster and it slowed down, and did big drifts on the corners. Nothing of the sort can happen on the elegy without using Nitrous.
The funny part is, people actually believe him. And whats even WORSE, is that a whole bunch of other people from Drift Andreas are claiming to be making 1:52's on average as well.
Seriously? Has everyone been smoking Time Attack drugs?
Even the best drivers on SA cannot do 1:51, let alone 1:50 with a stock elegy and NO nitrous.
Next time you see Serravitor or anyone else claim they made lower than 1:52, don't believe any of it.
...Iyiyi, this bullshit stinks.

I found this clip a bit funny, both lead singers from the 2 bands get together to play Ozzy Osbourne's Paranoid.

[1337] JJ - Video Comeback
So apparently our old friend JJ is coming back to make 1 final video, which he wants to be the best drift video ever made for GTA. With the smoothest and cleanest drifts possible. In the comments of this intro video you can see Kassik has gone a bit overboard with the accusations of slowing down video's. But is he right? Kassik has proven he knows what a slowed-down video looks like, and we do know JJ was around the time those video's started being created. So lets wait it out and see what happens.
Personally I've known JJ for a long time, since the time of my first drift clan to be more exact. He was a pretty cool guy, friendly, but like everyone else he changed when [1337] was started, and after that clan was created he basically stopped talking with me.
From what I've gathered, JJ has always wanted to be king on the spotlight, to be someone everyone knew, but he never really achieved that. He ended up creating a seperate Youtube account and actually making a video dedicated to himself, to make it look like he was the best underground drifter out there. That was by far his most pathetic move. I would love to see him get what he deserves tho. A spot amongst a group of drifting legends, a team that beats the purpose of [1337] or MPWR.
If you haven't noticed, all of the old and "Pro" drifters have never actually been able to leave GTA. No matter how many times they have said they are leaving for good, they have always ended up coming back. I think they should get together and form one final, one great drifting team. They have tried before as I mentioned, but they failed when they let greed, ignorance and arrogance rule the decisions of the team. They looked at themselves as the ones nobody could fuck with, the ones that ruled. But they did nothing to get such credit, so they just became washed-up wrecks.
Get together, Create the team, Create the final video's that will cap off the drifting community. This time, don't let the morons in the clan, and I think even they know who I am talking about.
ANYWAY, away from all the dark crusader bullshit, here is that video I mentioned a few years ago...it seems.

D1GP Drivers - Atsushi Kuroi
Ignore the Youtube title given to this video.
This video shows almost all of the D1 Drivers in 2009 competing for..a place in D1, and you'll catch some awesome drift action in the process. My main reason for posting it is for Atsushi Kuroi, who does an incredible high angle, long slide entry drift into the corner in the video.
The sad part about it is that Atsushi Kuroi died in a motorcycle accident on February 2, 2010. Him and Asamoto were my favorite drivers to watch on D1, so it really does suck to see him go. It IS almost impossible to forget his unforgettable 240sx Coupe which he drove for his whole D1 Career. He may have only won one series, but his skills and car control best almost any other driver I've seen.

Might have to try out the game sometime.

Yet Another Horrible Drift Video Coming
So, I free'd up some hard drive space yesturday and decided to record another random street drift in LS this time. Nothing special, no editing. Recording has gone arsehole on me again, giving constant lag spikes, but I still managed to get something out of it. Uploading soon.

DriftEE's Admission Video
Quick Update.
Sorry but no forgiving will be done. This is not the first, second, third, forth or fifth time DriftEE has screwed everyone over.
Sorry but no forgiving will be done. This is not the first, second, third, forth or fifth time DriftEE has screwed everyone over.
Kassik Wins, and Bits of History.
A reply to the previous post.
Kassik finished by proving DriftEE is a fake drifter, as DriftEE admitted to it. And that is where I must confess a few things to everyone.
For the past 2 years, I have been paying close attention to who and how people are slowing down their videos. Believe it or not but almost everyone you know as a "pro" drifter in the GTA community has done it. Ranging from SiLvia, DC, JJ, Viper, and even some of the small times. There have been 3 events in which I have actually seen people recording in slow motion, the latest one was 2 months ago where DriftEE was doing a slow motion drift down /dg8, the circle parking lot in LS.
An answer to one of the questions many of you ask, "Why can't I join TDSD?". The answer is simple; TDSD was created to be a solid team, the best team, and membership was gained based upon a combination of the following: Attitude, Personality, Reputation, and Drift Skill.
Many of you may disagree and say that TDSD does not have the best members, it is old and out-dated; but I must say something. Each member of TDSD was in the clan for over a whole year without quitting or Multi-clanning. Each member of TDSD has a form of drifting un-matched by anyone else. Each member of TDSD has made a name for themselves with or without the clan tag. Each member of TDSD has had a long history with the drift community and knows lots about the members within it as well as activity within it. Each member is independent, dedicated, and friendly to mostly everyone in the community.
In other words, what I'm trying to say is...I'm so fucking proud of you cocksucking motherfuckers.
Anyway, back on subject:
I would really care less if people slowed-down their videos, as long as they admit it and say so on the video. Video's are meant for entertaining, to be exciting the watch. But when people use them to convince everyone else that they are "Professionals" or "Expects" by making lies with slowed-down videos, it gets extremely pathetic.
Without a question, there is no doubt DriftEE is a pro drifter without slow-mo, I have personally seen him perform many great drifts, well above average. Why he decided to do this, is a question you will have to ask him. I already listed a few reasons in the other post, but honestly...what a dipshit move.
I am glad to see however that as the Drift Community grows older, (and I do say grows, because even tho many years have past, the SAMP community still gains players more than it looses them), people are becoming more self-aware and realizing these things out by themselves. A great example, Kassik.
And to end off the post, I'll give a shot out to Daan and reply to a few of his bold ego-waffle statements.
I have had the privilege to talk to, get to know and drift with almost every drifter that has even existed on GTA. I am very proud of TDSD as posted above, and not once in my entire time playing have I ever had as big of an ego as you have. Not once have I ever gone around saying that I am the best, the king shit drifter of GTA. Not once have I raged or laughed at people just to make them believe TDSD is the best drift team out there and that we can pwn any and all. Not once. The last thing I have wanted to see from TDSD is ignorance, arrogance and an ego the size of yours. I am not and will never be, "The Best". However, for an egotistical insecure fuckface like you, I'll let you know that the best drifter I have seen personally is indeed an active player on sa-mp.
So Good day, and fuck you!

Kassik Takes a Stand Against DriftEE!
This is a funny and awsome bit of news coming from the drift community of GTA! KassikDoriftor has made a video explaining how DriftEE makes his video's so smooth and how he gets such precise drifts, while DriftEE completely denies the claims.
It's a funny war against the 2, but its fucking awsome that someone is taking a stand against bullshit like this, even if he is right or wrong.
Where do I stand in this? I actually would not doubt it if Kassik is correct.
DriftEE has been a complete stubborn jackass for a while now, with a fucking massive ego shoved up his rear end, and not that of the car he drives. Yesturday at around 3am I was making a post about People's ego's on Drift Andreas, a post directly forwarded for DriftEE and Daan. I honestly can't tell you what has come over the 2 of them, but they really have turned into major jackasses as probably most of you have seen.
Jelousy? A striving Urge to be the best? A past history of never being noticed and a growing case of insecurity? I honestly can't tell you. DriftEE is still a friend and a great guy, but one way or another (this post), I have to confront him about his ego, un-related to the event of Kassik. As for Daan, I never truly knew him but we used to drift and joke around together, then out of nowhere he grows a thorn out oh his ass and doesn't shave it off.
Sorry to sound so offensive but when I thought SiLvia was bad for this...they take a whole new stand on it. And Remember that this video is coming from Kassik, someone who was accused of slowing down video's himself, and even gave a confession to it while on SA-MP. But At least he didn't go over the limits.
Anyway here is the video made by Kassik, similar to the one HolsetTurbo (Vertex) made a while ago.
However, in the mean time if you want to get your mind off the hate, it IS the day of love you know, Valentines day? So here's a a nap created by Top Gear for you enjoyment.

More Touge Information
For anyone who wants an update:
I continued adding road to the touge and thought of what kind of environment and scenery I may create around it, came up with
-After doing the series of Canyon Wall Drifts, you will exit out on a small straightaway with a gas station and rest stop before entering a darker, damp forested area such as this:
-After climbing up the other side of the map on the hairpin, you will hit a straightaway that has a few medium sized, slightly downhill corners. Coming out of one of the corners you will be able to view a canyon with a river flowing through and have a risk of falling off. Once you complete the corner it goes back into a valley like formation and crosses a bridge overtop part of the beginning corners. Curving into a big U-turn that will take you to the opposite side of the river where the map is still to be thought of!
Update 2:
To save me some time I have decided to go ahead and combine the old un-finished Touge map to the ColMine Touge. They will be placed on opposite sides of the touge and eventually linked Together. Altho the old Touge was designed to be more of a tropical paradise than anything, it will be implanted with the Canadian style as that of ColMine one way or another, but yet keep the tropical feel (smoke some drugs possibly?).
Also I got a bit worried about map size and how will I fit it in SA, so I imported the files from Fantasy Hill and compared.
ColMine + The old Touge is about 3/4 of the borders from Fantasy Hill, this is because Fantasy Hill is spread out like a drag strip with corners, and ColMine is more centered, yet has many more corners to drift :P!
The only concern is that the map will have to be placed at the all too famous LS Verona Beach. The San Fierro Harbor will most likely be too small to hold the map and adding it on the outside of the map will cause SA to reach its Limits and not work (map would be invisible and out of place, also should crash game).
So if that is the case, I better damn well make it worth it. However if you still feel the need to use SAkina, Robada, Laguna, CEA, Fantasy, and whatever other maps are placed in the same position, I >might< change the location of them afterwards to be compatible, but probably not.

Excel24 - S13 Coupe Exterior Parts
Working on the S13 __Yet Again__
The whole reason behind the continuation of updates is because:
1 - It has become a very high detailed car
2 - It was my second scratch made model
3 - It's dead sexy
4 - I own one IRL
5 - There are many combinations of upgrades and parts
6 - To be prepared for a badass drift session on ColMine Hill
Number 6 being the main one for this edit >:P
Anyway here is a pic of all exterior parts that will be used on the car AFTER several main body / engine upgrades are complete.
